Rite Lite is currently seeking an additional Project Manager to join our team!

Description of position:

  • Collaborates directly with Sales Team
  • Establish accessible, organized and complete job files
  • Creates Shop Drawings in collaboration with Art Department
  • Secures sealed engineering if required
  • If permit required, ensures file is reviewed for permit application requirements and requests additional information from Salesperson or drawing revisions required for permits
  • Schedule and direct customer location surveys as needed
  • Creates work orders for production
  • Releases to production upon issuance of permits. Individual production department work orders/drawings assembled and distributed through production manager
  • Hires installation subcontractor if applicable and determines if RLS or Sub required to obtain permits
  • Issues purchase orders to subcontractors and vendors
  • Coordinates installation with RLS Installation department or with Subcontractor
  • Continually monitors production progress.
  • Performs QC checks on signage as project moves through production and final assembly.
  • Arranges shipping, if necessary
  • Coordinates with customer’s electrician for final electrical connection
  • Coordinates calling inspections
  • Executes job close outs, including invoicing package
  • Confirms final installation per specs and confirms permits are closed out
  • Processes invoice for final payment
  • Processes invoice for Subcontractor/vendors/suppliers for PO generated by PM
  • Submits final invoice to customer, including completion photos as required

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in construction management, engineering, or relevant discipline.
  • Between one to three years of commercial construction experience with an emphasis on retail, movie theatres, distribution centers, manufacturing, hospitality and/or office buildings.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience using Primavera Products (P3, P6, Contract Manager); project management software (Sage, CMC, Contract Manager, Plans and Specs, Constructware, SharePoint and Viewpoint) required. Additional estimating software experience (Timberline, Win Est., Quote Express, On-Screen Quantity Takeoff) is preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to interact and communicate professionally and effectively with managers and co-workers.
  • Conveying a sense of urgency while maintaining strong attention to detail, while projecting a positive, proactive desire to support a broad range of initiatives. The fortitude to juggle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment is crucial
